Is my portfolio data safe?
Yes. All portfolio data is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted to any server. Your data is protected by your device's built-in OS encryption — Android Keystore on Android 10+ and iOS Keychain on iOS 16+.
Does Stock-Dawgg require an account?
No. Stock-Dawgg requires no account, no login, and no email address. Install the app and start monitoring immediately.
How do price alerts work?
Stock-Dawgg monitors your watchlist in the background and sends a push notification — and triggers the Barking Dawgg animation — when a holding moves beyond your set threshold. You can configure separate thresholds for stocks and crypto.
Does crypto monitoring work 24/7?
Yes. Crypto is monitored around the clock since crypto markets never close. Stock alerts respect market hours, with an optional extended hours toggle for pre-market and after-hours activity.
What are the monthly PDF reports?
On the 1st of each month, Stock-Dawgg automatically generates a PDF summary of your portfolio performance. Reports are built entirely on your device and saved to Downloads/StockDawgg/. They are never uploaded or shared.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstall the app. All locally stored data — watchlist, portfolio, preferences, and cached data — is permanently deleted upon uninstallation. PDF reports saved to Downloads/StockDawgg/ can be deleted manually from your file manager.
What devices are supported?
Stock-Dawgg supports Android 10 (API 29) and above, and iOS 16 and above. The app is available for both phone and tablet.
